Tom Sachs and Nike get together to bring you the Tom Sachs: NikeCraft collection. As Tom was building his Space Program: MARS: Mars exhibition at the Armory in NYC he approached Nike with the idea of developing a uniform of sport for the journey through space. The preparation for space travel requires a high level of fitness so the final product needs to be high performance and durable.
The final result is quite an amazing collaborative effort by two highly innovative, and creative entities pushing the boundries of functional fashion and design. And of course Tom's creativity, storytelling and attention to functional detailing make this collection the first of its kind.

Mars Fly Jacket, Tom Sachs: NIKECraft
- Post embellished leather hood, sleeve/hood tensioners, and leather sleeve cuffs
- 360 reflective markers customized by Sachs
- Made from 100% recycled, water resistant polyester woven to block elements such as rain and wind
- Extremely light weight and packable (can fold down to a small square)
Lightweight Tote, Tom Sachs: NIKECraft
- Main body fashioned from Cuban Fiber sail fabric
- Cuban fiber is typically used as a down wind sail on boats made from filament tape, Dyneema, aramid, and carbon yarns, polyester and fluoride films
- Lightweight, water resistant, and strong
- Bag bottom is coated with vectran for durability and water resistance
- Converts from a tote into a backpack
- Drawstring pull reinforced with vectran
- Also includes back stiffener, 3 zipper pulls, grappling hook, mini pry bar, battery box, and 30ft Para cord
