The 1461 NEIGHBORHOOD is constructed from Dr. Martens' famous Smooth leather for a signature NEIGHBORHOOD blacked-out aesthetic with contrast white details. Dr. Martens trademark yellow welt-stitch has been re-tuned to match NEIGHBORHOOD white screen-printed artwork. Finished with a tech-inspired dual-branded reflective heel strip.

Founded in Tokyo in 1994 by Shinsuke Takizawa, NEIGHBORHOOD has grown from a small footprint in the backstreets of Harajuku to an indelible mark on the global streetwear scene. Inspired by cultural movements and eras rather than industry-dictated seasons, NEIGHBORHOOD epitomises the influence of London's punk culture and New York's hip-hop scene on Japan's own rebellious youth tribes.
