The Pilot style jacket from Stone Island is made of twisted cotton nylon ripstop and woven with a thin highly reflective tape. The fabric undergoes a slight internal resin coating and the finished garment is dyed with specific recipes colouring the textile parts of the garment while respecting the reflecting surface. The addition of a special agent to the dyeing process makes the garment anti-drop.
