RHUDE and Vans Vault come together to reinterpret California Plate Prints as a nod to each brand’s beloved California heritage. First introduced in 1963, the California black plate originally featured gold numbers and an embossed California logo. RHUDE takes on the design with branding inspired by the Vans flying-V logo. The Bold Ni is reintroduced through a revival of archival products with modern updates. The shoe overall presents a vintage feel with updated foxing tape and gentle suede uppers, the Bold Ni also features a revised T shaped design at the toe.
