Vans Era 59 x Norse Projects

Norse Projects gets together with Vans Vault to pay homage to Danish design, focusing around the concept of 'stoflighed', a Danish word expressing a mixture of materiality and texture, a key element in Danish architectural and design tradition.The stoflighed project focuses on 3 main elements: Fabric, footwear and furniture, and is completed with an installation which will accompany the in store release.Contemporary Danish textile producer Kvadrat supplied the Tundra and Tonica fabrics for the project. Kvadrat is Europe's leading manufacturer of design textiles. These textiles were then applied to two iconic skateboard shoe models from Vans - Era and Chukka. Both models are available in three distinct colourways, and express rich tones and textural qualities.
