As a small, independent business, we have made the difficult decision to temporarily pause shipping to EU countries outside of Germany. Shipping within Germany and to all non-EU destinations (such as the US, CA, Asia, the UK, and Switzerland) remains completely unaffected and continues as usual.
Starting August 12, 2026, the new EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) applies across Europe. While we already fully comply with these packaging regulations for Germany, the new rules require us to repeat this complex process for every single EU country we ship to. This means appointing, paying, and regularly reporting to an authorized representative in up to 26 separate nations—regardless of whether we send one parcel a year or a hundred. For a small business like ours, duplicating this administrative and financial burden across the entire EU is simply impossible to handle. - Every order is processed for shipment on all business days, typically the same day, after full payment has been received.
- All orders are shipped directly from Berlin, Germany
- 19% VAT / MwSt / Tax (7% for books & magazines) will automatically be deducted during checkout for shipments to all Non-EU countries

** Orders shipping to Non-EU countries with total amount exceeding 1.000,00 Euro must be declared by German Customs before the goods can be dispatched from our warehouse. Normally it takes 1-2 additional business days for customs to provide us with the neccesary export documents. This service is free of costs for all customers.
