The Sophnet Kvadrat Sisu Flight Jacket stems from a collaboration with Kvadrat - the revered Danish textile house founded in 1968, anchored in Scandinavian design tradition and celebrated for pioneering fabrics across architecture, aerospace, and beyond. At its core lies 'Sisu': a bold, large-scale reinterpretation by contemporary artist Danh Vo of Kvadrat’s archival 'Hallingdal' textile, originally designed by Nanna Ditzel in 1965. Distinctive 'Sisu' panels define the rear sleeves, their vivid coloration and precise paneling generating a rhythmic, almost kinetic impression. A removable tag on the left sleeve - cut from the same fabric - serves as a refined, detachable accent. The main shell is rendered in nylon twill with an intentionally faded treatment, conjuring authentic vintage military character.
